from trash to treasure



So much can happen in a season. Just ask Matt Cassel. He went from lifetime backup to superstar with one low Bernard Pollard hit. Do you realize that Cassel hadn't started a meaningful game since high school? He was Carson Palmer's back up in college at USC. Somehow he managed to get drafted by the Pats and became Tom Brady's back up.

Needless to say (but I'll say it anyhow) you could have picked up some low number rookie cards with autos for little more than the cost of shipping just one short season ago. Now, check out this gold refractor. How much do you think it will go for?
